What's New On: : Brand appropriation in religious communication. María José Peñaherrera.

In this video, we analyze how the registration of trademarks with religious connotations is legislated in Ecuador and other Latin American countries.

We explore the applicable regulations, such as Decision 486 of the Andean Community and the Organic Code of the Social Knowledge, Creativity, and Innovation Economy (COESCCI), which govern intellectual property. We also address specific cases and the challenges these applications face when evaluated under criteria of morality and public order.
