Rafael Serrano is a Director at Robalino, where he specializes in the areas of Banking and Finance, Compliance & Forensics, Corporate Law, and Risk Management.

He is a graduate of the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, the University of Catalunya, and the University of the Hemispheres. He has over 22 years of experience in the sector, during which he has advised Citibank, N.A. Ecuador Branch. Throughout his career, he has witnessed significant events in the National Congress of Ecuador, including the signing of the peace treaty with Peru and the dollarization process.

Outside of work, he enjoys reading, running, and cycling. He also promotes a work environment that supports empathy and cultural diversity.
