Hernán Escudero Álvarez is an associate at Robalino with a solid background in international arbitration and litigation. Specializing in cross-border disputes, he has represented clients in arbitral proceedings under the rules of the ICC, UNCITRAL, and the Quito Chamber of Commerce.
With an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution and Litigation from UCL, Hernán has advised states and companies on complex legal matters, including public international law and investment protection. Before joining Robalino, he served as an assistant professor at USFQ and participated in various international competitions.
An avid reader, Hernán enjoys both fiction and non-fiction, his favorite book is "The Master and Margarita" of Mikhail Bulgakov.
