Mauricio specializes in economic analysis for competition law. With a Master's in Information Systems with a focus on Big Data and Business Analytics and a specialization in econometrics, Mauricio combines his impressive academic background with meticulous and results-oriented practice.

He chose his area of practice due to his passion for competition law and his 8 years of experience at the Superintendencia de Competencia Económica, the competition authority of Ecuador. This experience has given him a holistic view of the practice of competition and unfair competition law, participating in economic-legal analysis of cases in various industries.

In addition to his professional practice, Mauricio enjoys going to the gym, studying advanced data analytics and playing the guitar in his free time.
